The Society in Brief

The Saudi Society for Meteorology was established in accordance with King Abdulaziz University (KAU) Council’s decree No. 4 in its first session in the Academic Year 1425-1426 H. held on 12/8/1424 H. (October 8, 2003). It was stipulated that its permanent headquarters would be at KAU in Jeddah; and that it could have other branches throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia according to relevant requirements and regulations.
